Meet Rebecca
I'm working on transferring to a domain for my blog. As most of you can remember, in high school my biggest "nontheatrical" hobby was webdesign and blogging. Somewhere along the way, I told myself I didn't have time for it, and focused 110% of myself into my work. I entered college and didn't plan any sort of "me" time into my work.Along the way, Max worked himself into my life. I'm not sure how he slipped into the cracks. I thought I had built a fortress that did not have room for outsiders. I guess I missed a bit. But I'm glad he slipped through the cracks. Now we're living together happily, and will be for quite some time. We have both decided not to get married until everyone has the right to in this country. That is, we will not marry until our gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender brethren can share the same joys under the law. Someone recently asked me if that was my way of "stalling" the wedding. I assure you, it isn't. I'm perfectly ready to be "bound" to this man. We are already one, in my mind's eye. We're a package deal. Some of my friends don't like this concept. They say I'm succumbing to society, or whatever. They are shocked that I need a man in my life. Well, the good news is, I don't need a man in my life. I need this man. And if he were a she, I would need that woman. I don't know how to explain it to my friends, but he isn't a temp. He's here for the long haul.Anyway, after Max broke the dam, the water started flowing in. I discovered that I can have "me" time and "me" activities. I don't need to be working all the time. Don't get me wrong, I'm still 110% committed to my work. But it's healthy for me to have down time. It increases the quality of my work and the happiness in my life.So I picked up guitar. I'm writing more. And now I'm setting up a bigger/better blog that I have 100% creative licence with. I can design a layout, without xanga or blogspot restrictions. My name is Rebecca. It's nice for me to finally meet me.

- 4 Wisdom
My Wisdom teeth were extracted on Monday. It is Wednesday and I still don't have feeling on the right side of my tongue. Max tells me it's probably nothing to worry about. How can I NOT worry about loosing feeling in my tongue? It's difficult to speak. I don't have proper diction. These are two things I pride myself on, and I can't do them? Wah!
In other news, I joined the Play Station Network. So if you're online, you might add me as a friend and we can play Fat Princess together. digitalbecks is my PSN ID.

Predictability
I made an impulsive buy the other day, but I'm not regretting it. I bought a pink Shakespeare fishing pole. Along with line, bobbers, bait, and hooks. We (Skyler and I) were going to go to the lake yesterday, but it began storming, so we kicked it back. Before I go out to fish, I need to pick up a liscense.I was going to go out to Red's this morning to fish, but woke up late. My bad. When I told Red I had bought a fishing pole she said "Let me guess - A SHAKESPEARE?"I'm so predictable.Tech week begins this week, and then lots and lots of hell. Wish me luck.

Season Finale
Playing the pregnant card? PERFECT.
Not me. Nancy Botwin. Who are YOU?!?
Bwahahaha.
No, seriously now. Things are much clearer now. <sing> I can see clearly now, the rain has gone... Someone is waiting cool as Sarah, easy and loving as Susan, Jenny... </sing>
Brought out the bicycle today to ride to Skylers and finish Season Four of Weeds... Now I have to wait another year for Season Five to come out on DVD so I can watch Weeds again. Were I not a poor college student, I would have Showtime. Would that I were rich.
Went to the Ampitheatre again last night with a different crowd. Adam, Daniel, and I got into a Shakespeare competition. That is, we did monologue after monologue for each other - just goofing around. I started my Hamlet, then stopped a line in, because I decided it was too personal for play. I am thinking about Hamlet auditions every day, and they are a semester away!
Another thing I think about everyday is Playwriting. I'm researching Grad Schools, studying the GRE (Well, not really - but the Baron's book is on my desk), and writing.
Mom gave me her minivan - the '91 toyota. She bought a prius.
Maybe I'll take a year off after graduating and travel around in the minivan... Put a matress in the back... tint the windows... All that jazz. Thoughts?
What are the laws against sleeping in minivans?
